Over THE GARAGE’s first 15 years, we filled our mainroom and entry walls with employees’ names and the signatures and logos of many bands and performers who played the venue. Without space left for new artists and with our reorganization under our own independent nonprofit, Twin Cities Catalyst Music, we decided to reimagine the bricks and empower the current generation to create their own traditions through groups like Catalyst Music Council. But before we painted our new look, renowned photographer Adam Degross came through and captured the bricks (including the one of his own high school band The Decomposed).

By mandate, the City of Burnsville has closed all City owned facilities (including THE GARAGE) from March 13th-July 1st, 2020. All shows, after school programs, recording sessions, live video sessions, and mentoring opportunities are postponed until further notice.

Did you know that the CARES Act includes an above-the-line deduction (universal or non-itemizer deduction that applies to all taxpayers) for total charitable contributions of up to $300?

The incentive applies to cash contributions made directly to a registered 501(c)(3) before December 31st, 2020.
